Crescent Head Photography – Big Hill Trail Bush Fire

In December we saw some of the worst bush fires ever in Crescent Head.  Over 3 weeks I photographed the fires that reached the edge of our property as helicopters, fire trucks and even planes fought to keep the houses and people in our community safe.

I’ve lived here for 3 years, after living and working as a photographer in Sydney, Melbourne and overseas.  I knew the day would eventually come when bushfires would be here.  The clock had been ticking.

The firefighters and RFS did an amazing job and we are extremely grateful for their hard work and skill.  Below are a few of the photos from the 2017 Big Hill Bush Fires in Crescent Head.
