I met up with the founders of Sydney-based ethical fashion label Arms of Eve, Kerryn and Aaron for a fashion shoot featuring their accessories and clothing in Byron Bay. In their gorgeous villa at Elements of Byron, we looked through the range of jewellery, scarves, shawls, ponchos and bags, curating outfits and discussing styles and locations.

Kerryn has put her heart in soul into each design and I could easily see the high quality of the pieces. Arms of Eve is a boutique fashion label dedicated to empowering artisans and revitalising traditional handmade techniques. It was born out of Kerryn’s passion for travel, obsessive thirst to collect and curate beautiful objects, and her insatiable appetite to interact with and learn from others.

Our gorgeous model Tori Atkins arrived at the villa, excited to take time out from her Byron break to model with us (she’s from the USA).

We were lucky for Byron Bay to turn on perfect weather for our photo shoot – I seem to score ideal weather every time I shoot there. The pristine beaches and stylish resort settings were a perfect match for Arms of Eve’s high-end look.

Campaign Photos From Our Ethical Fashion Photo Shoot in Byron Bay

My brief from Arms of Eve was 25 images of approx 25 of their items. I’m not going to lie – while we were shooting we were all IN THE FLOW! Tori was on fire, looking amazing and posing beautifully, Kerryn was all over the styling, James was an extraordinary photographer’s assistant, and Aaron kept us all pumped with tunes and ideas for backdrops, which he’d scouted the previous day.

25 final images grew to 45 once I sent through the contact sheets. Here are some of them…I’ll post more in another blog entry. These photos are being used on the Arms of Eve website, across social media and are available for any future magazine or print campaigns. As you’ll see on their website and socials, the high quality of their imagery lifts their brand to successfully represent their high quality, hand selected products. This will help Arms of Eve stand out from the crowd in the overcrowded online marketplace.
